Target-Specific Signals

Signal Type (SigType) Explained

SigType is a variant selector. When the post-processor detects a workload, it sets SigType based on load intensity. URM then selects the matching signal config entry.

For video decode (computed by calculateDecoderSigType in CamPostProcessing.cpp):

SigType Meaning Trigger Condition
0 Default (low load) 0–4 concurrent decode threads
5 Medium load 5–20 concurrent decode threads
21 High load >20 concurrent decode threads

For camera encode multi-stream (computed by calculateEncoderSigType in CamPostProcessing.cpp):
